Preparation for the service of holy matrimony involves several counseling meetings with Pastor Warren, where you will discuss a video series and assigned reading. You will find this a time to reflect, ask questions and learn about what makes a successful marriage. At Candleberry Chapel, we believe that marriage is the exclusive union of one man and one woman, as prescribed in Scripture. Services can be held in the Chapel, which holds up to 90 people, or on the beautiful grounds outside.

The decision to be baptized is one made by a person who has reached maturity in their faith. We hold special classes to help you understand this commitment to becoming a member of our family of believers.

Baptism for our church means full immersion in the water God so freely gives us. We welcome children into our faith through a dedication service (see next section).

We believe that everyone, at every age, is a child of God. Parents who want to dedicate their child to God’s work and meet with Pastor Warren at our Baby Dedication classes to prepare for this ceremony. The classes are held monthly on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m.

The Candleberry Chapel community holds up those in mourning, ready to respond in this time of grief. Our Pastoral Care Team is available for both immediate and longer-term needs.

Pastor Warren conducts services both at the Chapel and in funeral homes.
